Fisent Launches BizAI Studio With Built-In Governance for Enterprise AI Automation

Fisent Technologies has launched BizAI Studio, a self-service environment that gives enterprise customers real-time visibility into AI workflow performance. The Toronto-based company reported 365% growth in licensing revenue in 2025. The platform addresses mounting pressure on IT and compliance teams to deploy generative AI (GenAI) automation while maintaining auditability, data security, and interoperability across heterogeneous enterprise environments.

Background

Fisent Technologies, which positions itself as a leader in Applied GenAI Process Automation, focuses on converting unstructured enterprise content into automated outcomes. BizAI is an agentic AI software solution built to process any content within complex enterprise workflows, leveraging GenAI models to automate repetitive, time-consuming tasks. The platform is production-proven with Fortune 500 customers, including those in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, and wealth management.

Enterprise demand for AI workflow automation has intensified, but security and governance requirements-particularly in regulated sectors-have constrained deployment velocity. Organizations operating under frameworks such as SOC 2, and facing incoming mandates like the EU AI Act, require demonstrable controls over model selection, data handling, and output accuracy before scaling automation into mission-critical processes.

Details

BizAI Studio provides Fisent BizAI customers with a self-service environment and real-time visibility into use case performance. Alongside the Studio launch, Fisent introduced BizAI Actions-a suite of specialized capabilities that transform unstructured data into automated outcomes-and a confidence rating capability that uses multiple techniques to determine predictive confidence. This allows organizations to automate repetitive expert decision-making with the same rigor and auditability as human-led processes.

On the security side, client data processed through BizAI is never retained or used for model training. All data at rest is secured with AES-256 encryption, and data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3). Through a partnership with Vanta, security controls are monitored in real time and adapt as compliance frameworks evolve; Fisent's Trust Center provides customers a central location to review all compliance documentation. Fisent completed a 2025 SOC 2 Type 2 audit with an expanded scope, according to the company's January 2026 announcement.

Interoperability is addressed through model optionality. BizAI customers can leverage and switch between any public or proprietary large language model (LLM) currently available. Fisent's GenAI Efficacy Framework (GEF) helps organizations identify the most effective model for a given use case based on metrics including accuracy, speed, cost, and consistency. The GEF was further enhanced in 2025 to augment testing and analysis of customer use cases both before and after production deployment.

Customer adoption reflects the platform's traction in regulated verticals. In manufacturing, Westinghouse Electric implemented Fisent BizAI in 2025 to streamline parts and equipment fulfillment for nuclear plants. In insurance, AEGIS London selected BizAI to automate key underwriting and policy administration workflows, harnessing GenAI to replace multiple manual processes. On average, Fisent customers run more than three BizAI implementations each. The company reported a Net Revenue Retention (NRR) of 173% in 2025 with zero customer churn over the past three years.

Most recently, Fisent introduced the Tabulate capability in March 2026, adding spreadsheet standardization to the BizAI action library. Tabulate leverages LLMs to embed data transformation logic directly into the extraction workflow, converting fragmented information into clean, standardized data types without extensive manual post-processing or middleware.

Outlook

In 2026, Fisent plans to expand its footprint by converting a pipeline of Fortune 500 prospects, many of which are expected to deploy BizAI as a standardized automation layer across enterprise functions. As compliance timelines tighten under regulations such as the EU AI Act, the combination of zero data retention by default, SOC 2 Type 2 certification, and real-time governance monitoring positions BizAI Studio as a platform targeting enterprises where auditability is a procurement prerequisite rather than an afterthought.
